REBUILDING TOGETHER: A STORY OF RESILIENCE AND SUPPORT
The Rebuilding Together project involves hundreds of families whose lives have been divided into “before” and “after.” The Agroprosperis Group operates a unified support program for colleagues whose homes have been damaged by shelling. Under this program, one-time financial assistance is provided to each affected individual.
The Agroprosperis Charity Foundation administers this program as an act of solidarity and care, standing by our employees at their most critical moment of need.
A story of resilience and support
On March 24, 2022, the day Irpin was designated a Hero City of Ukraine, the home of our colleague Viacheslav Lytvynets and his in-laws' residence were completely destroyed during active hostilities. The walls vanished, taking with them their comfort, children’s laughter, and a piece of their family history. Yet, even amidst the ruins, hope was restored.
Thanks to the support of colleagues and financial assistance from the Agroprosperis Charity Foundation, Viacheslav was able to take the first steps toward rebuilding his life and setting up a new home for his family.
On his 40th birthday, May 16, 2023, he received, in his own words, one of the most meaningful birthday gifts — the first batch of aerated concrete blocks, which marked the beginning of a new chapter. Within just two months, the frame of the house was up, and the roof was secured. There was still a lot of work ahead, but the key thing — a secure home for the family — had become a reality. Viacheslav welcomed the fall of 2024 in his own home. While finer details remain to be finished, the most important milestone has been achieved: his family once again has a place they can call home.
His words are filled with deep gratitude:
“I am incredibly grateful to EVERYONE who supported my family during this difficult time. Together, we will endure and overcome everything!”
Program Results
Throughout its duration, the program has successfully supported:
244 applicants across affected regions;
Total assistance: UAH 5,617,620.
This support provides the critical catalyst for people to begin restoring their lives, allowing them to purchase essential building materials, address immediate emergencies, and ensure foundational stability for their families. This program is defined by humanity, mutual support, and being there for one another in the darkest of times.
At the same time, it is important to note that the Foundation does not cover the full cost of home repairs or construction, as this remains the responsibility of government agencies. Our aid serves as a meaningful, supportive contribution up to the maximum capacity of the Foundation’s resources.
“Before / After”
We will share photo reports showing the journey from ruins to new homes. This stands as clear evidence that, by working together, we can restore a sense of home and security to those who need it most.
Inviting partners to support
We welcome partnerships and co-financing opportunities to continue supporting colleagues who have lost or had their homes damaged due to the war. Your contribution will help affected families take the first, most crucial steps toward recovery and restore a sense of stability and reassurance.
